the super ordinary

when you read word vanilla or hear it, whats on your mind? milk, cake, ice cream, or the opposite of 'kinky'? hahahahaha lately i realize something make me so related for word 'vanilla'. vanilla use as a phrase that refer to express something conventional, the ordinary, normal, some people said it to express something unexciting, or even boring. but is anyone can tell me about how is the vanilla beans taste? i mean the beans from the vanilla trees (fact:vanilla one genus of orchid family) is it sweet? is it sour? is it bitter? or is it complex? all i know it smells good, super sexy mixed with chocolate, milk, and ice cream. but the real flavor of vanilla? i don't know.
but for me, all the meaning of vanilla is so related with me. the super plain, ordinary, unexciting, boring human being. really fit to me and i believe that some friends already recognize me with word vanilla, yes me as the vanilla :)
btw thanks to hyde, his song 'sweet vanilla' that make me falling in love with the word vanilla.
